Question: How expensive is Allstar Cheerleading?
Answer: Depending on the team placement, monthly fees range from
$90-$125 per month. Other fees include, registration, choreography,
coaches, competition, travel, and clothing. You will receive a complete
breakdown of all cost prior to the first practice. If you come a
competitive gymnastics or dance background, the fees will be slightly
less. If your cheer experience is with recreation or school
cheerleading, it will be greater. Our program is designed to give each
athlete the most "bang for your buck". We offer the best instruction at
the most reasonable prices. You have the opportunity to fundraise for
as much or as little as you like. Therefore...the true expense is
determined by you.
Question: Are there scholarship opportunities for cheerleading?
Answer: Yes, there are. Each college/university is different.
You will not have a better opportunity to receive a scholarship from
participating in Allstar Cheerleading, but you will have an advantage
over other athletes that have not had the experience or training that
comes with being part of an Allstar program. The schools that offer the
most in scholarship money are schools that are looking to better their
program. Any coach, high school or Allstar, that promises scholarship
money to you is not being honest. Our staff has great connections with
many college coaches and, if you let us know your goals, we will help
you in all ways possible to achieve them.
Question: Why is attendance mandatory?
Answer: This sport requires all members in attendance in order
to have a fully effective practice. When one child is missing, stunts
are not able to be performed, transitions are not the same, and any new
material is not learned. Please try to schedule appointments and
parties on non-practice nights. We all have things that cannot be
avoided, and we understand that. We just ask that you are committed to
the sport, and do your best to be at all practices.
